CM inspected works of Secretariat, Ambedkar Statue and Martyrs Memorial

Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao inspected the progress in the construction works of Dr.  BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat, 125 feet Dr. BR Ambedkar statue and Telangana Martyrs Memorial.

Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday visited and reviewed the works at Telangana Secretariat, Martyrs Memorial and Ambedkar statue which are nearing completion.

CM reached the Secretariat first and inspected the progress of the Elevation work, construction of the Fountain, Green Lawn, Tomb and stone design works which are in the final stage. The Chief Minister expressed satisfaction on the construction of the specious main gate of the Secretariat and wood carving brought from Bhupal.

Later, CM reached the CM Chambers on sixth floor and inspected tables, chairs and other furniture arranged in the Chambers. The CM inspected Wall cladding, decoration and other final touches in the chamber and expressed satisfaction.

CM congratulated Minister Sri Vemula Prashanth Reddy, officials and the work agency after inspecting the works of walls decorated with white and gold colour stripes, Marble flooring matching color of the walls, wide corridors and the doors of the chambers which are beautifully decorated. The Chief Minister is happy after experiencing a pleasant atmosphere with natural light. The  CM inspected the conference hall and chambers arranged for the CMO staff. CM inspected the furniture installed in the chambers and inquired whether all the arrangements are suitable to perform their duties by the staff. The CM visited  Chief Secretary’s chamber, staff office, conference hall, waiting rooms for the visitors and other facilities. CM inspected the spacious hall arranged for multiple uses including meetings and dining, offices of CM  secretaries and other staff. The CM inspected the chambers set up for the GAD protocol staff, Collectors’ conference hall, waiting lounge set up for public representatives and the VIP waiting lounge.

The Chief Minister said that steps should be taken to all the departments assigned to the ministers situated closely and the staff of all the departments belonging to that minister are in one place. CM advised the officials to set up the offices ensuring all the employees working in the respective departments with comfortable.

After reaching the ground floor, the CM walked through the southern part and inspected the parking place which is under construction. CM gave some instructions to Minister Vemula Prashant Reddy, work agencies and engineers. After that, the CM inspected the road works inside and outside the Secretariat main wall. CM examined the road proceeding from the front of the secretariat and south to the north through the tank bund. The CM inspected the wide roads that are being constructed for common people to travel from the flyover and in front of the Secretariat towards the Necklace Road. CM inspected the main road leading inside the Secretariat. The CM went around the Secretariat and inspected the progress of the work. CM expressed happiness that the construction work of the secretariat is completed as per his plan.

Later, CM inspected the ongoing works at Dr. BR Ambedkar statue. The CM reached the first floor and inspected the progress of the works of the auditorium which is being constructed for the audiovisual programme, fountain, landscaping, etc.

Chief Minister enquired Minister Sri Koppula Eshwar, officials and the agencies about the progress of the construction work. CM made it clear that there should not be any deficiency in the quality of work. The CM directed officials to complete the historical Dr. BR Ambedkar statue works expeditiously.

From there, CM visited Martyrs Memorial and inspected the progress of the construction taken up in memory of the Telangana Martyrs. The CM inspected  Auditorium which is being constructed for audio and video presentations on the first floor, the Laser show, the ramp, cellar parking works, etc. Engineers explained the progress in the construction to the CM through maps. Expressing his satisfaction, CM gave some instructions to Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy.
