CM’s speech at new collectorate office – Highlights:
Sincere appreciation to the people, public representatives, and officials of Gadwal district for constructing and opening such fine administrative buildings.
- Finance Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, who was posted in Gadwal and served as Sub Collector, came with me with special admiration.
- Today Telangana is number one in many sectors in the country.
- Telangana State is number one in terms of ‘Per Capita Income’ among the big states in India. The state surpassed all the big states.
- Number one in ‘Per Capita Power Utilization’, providing ‘Drinking Water’ and achieved ‘ODS Plus’ status.
- During the movement, he came to attend a meeting in a village located between Tungabhadra and Krishna in the Gadwala district
- I was very angry and cried. People and the whole village also cried. I will never forget that. There was so much pain and sorrow here. People were distressed.
- The area between two rivers -Tungabhadra and Krishna also faced a lot of problems.
- To solve such problems we fought and achieved Telangana state. We are making wonderful progress in Telangana.
- Once the ‘Gattu lift’ is completed, the original Gadwal will turn into a diamond piece, a gold piece. Work is already going fast.
- We got back the RDS lost by the Tummilla lift.
- MLA Abraham and MLC Venkatram Reddy said that they wanted Manedu Kunta. If the extension work is done, Alampur will also be a hub of main crops and development.
- Employees have been working in the government for many years. We are also working in politics.
- Being a leader in many fields, we achieved development that no one ever imagined. We still have a lot to accomplish in the coming days.
- We are taking many programs that are very innovative and think deeply from a human perspective.
- Most people do not know the ‘problem of stunting’. ‘Stunting problem’ means the growth of children has stopped. It is due to malnutrition.
- Once a generation is hit by the ‘stunting problem’, it takes a hundred and fifty years to recover.
- Many countries struggle with the ‘problem of stunting’. Such suffering should not come to us. Even though we do not have such poor conditions, we have to think deeply. We are undertaking programs to avert such problems.
- Taken up the Kanti Velugu programme which no one in the world has ever thought of in history and no government has ever done in India.
- Subsidy schemes are implemented not for petty politics and votes. As the revenues increased, the wealth of the people should also increase. The health of the people should be good.
- If we feel better and relaxed, the threat of downward development is very much there.
- If we work hard like this for another five or ten years, none in India will beat Telangana.
- Punjab is the first state to witness the Green Revolution. They hold the record in paddy production for the last fifty years.
- Today, Telangana surpassed Punjab to become the number one producer of Paddy.
- 94 lakh acres of paddy are grown during Yasangi in the country. Out of that 56,40,000 acres are in Telangana alone. It is more than fifty percent of India.
- Gadwal was also formed as a district, built good administrative buildings and provided all the facilities.
- Gadwal Medical College is also coming up. No one even dreamed that there would be a medical college in Narayanapeta and Gadwal.
- Because of the people’s blessings, we brought 5 medical colleges to the old Palamuru district. This is a sign of tremendous progress.
- As wealth is increasing, so much courage has come to us. Our per capita increased and GST increased and moved ahead.
- My only plea to all is don’t let this team get disintegrated. If we move forward with this persistence, we will create more miracles. There is a chance to move forward very well. Not only the agricultural sector, the social sector, and the welfare sector.
- According to the recently released Nasscom report, IT exports increased to Rs.2,47,000 crores. Amazing progress.
- Industries and investments are also coming to us. We are moving forward in a great way with an integrated development.
- Once again I appreciate our employees and public representatives who are responsible for this.
