Telang​ana bags 8 National Tourism Awards

Telangana state honoured with eight awards for promotion of tourism and cleanliness at the World Tourism Day celebrations of the Ministry of Tourism in New Delhi. The awards were announced for Telangana in the categories of heritage structures, cleanliness in tourist places and tourist guides. The state received awards for Cleanliness, Best Tourist Guide, Best Tourism Promotion, Publicity Material, Best Heritage City, Best Maintained and Disable Friendly Monument, Civic Management Tourist Destination in India, Best Stand alone Convention Centre and Best Medical Tourism Facility.
