Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed Integrated District Collectorate Complex of the Medchal – Malkajigiri district. CM KCR left Pragati Bhavan at 2.50 pm to inaugurate the new district office complex. On his way, he offered prayers at Thota Mutyalamma temple in Bollaram. From there, CM KCR reached the complex which has been constructed at Antaipally in Shamirpet mandal. District leaders and officials welcomed the Chief Minister with flower bouquets and priests with ‘Purnakumbha’. On the occasion, tricolor balloons were also released in the air. Later, CM KCR received the police salute.
CM KCR inaugurated the collectorate on the auspicious time of 3.49 pm by unveiling a plaque of the of the integrated building complex . Teh building was constructed in the area of 30 acres at the cost of Rs.56. 20 crores. The Chief Minister visited the entire premises and inspected facilities. CM KCR performed special pooja at the Collectorate office and he made Collector S. Harish sit on the chair in the Collector’s Chamber and blessed him wishing all success. Later, CM KCR participated in interfaith prayers. District Collector Harish felicitated CM KCR and presented a memento.
