Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao asserted that the results achieved by the government machinery working in coordination with collective spirit will speed up social development and then only people in the society will join as partners in the results achieved. CM said that the progress achieved in the self-rule which was the result of the Telangana movement is proof of collective efforts. The Chief Minister said that the collective efforts of the government employees are encompassed in shaping each sector in the state and getting results in accordance with the aspirations of the people. CM said that we should not stop being satisfied with what we have achieved and think bigger. The Chief Minister reiterated that government officials should think creatively every day to bring more qualitative progress in the lives of people.
“Everybody works as a routine but what matters is how to work better.” Think every day how much better you can do tomorrow than yesterday. What is important is how scientifically you live, enjoy and think about work. Only then can we grow higher. Ways should be explored to solve public problems from time to time in innovative methods rather than traditional methods. For that, all the government departments have to work together in coordination,” CM explained to the officials.
The Chief Minister held a high-level meeting at Pragathi Bhawan on Sunday to review the development works undertaken by the Municipal Department across the state, along with further improvement of infrastructure in Nizamabad city, development of all sectors for the convenience of the people and beautification of the city.
On this occasion, CM said…Today, development work across the state needs to be pursued as a continuous process. Public needs are increasing in tune with growing economic resources and wealth in Telangana. Accordingly, everyone should work together to provide quality facilities for people. Today, Telangana has achieved qualitative development in all fields from a situation where there were no minimum facilities in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh government. People experienced quality facilities in infrastructure such as agriculture, irrigation, drinking water, electricity, roads, education, medicine, etc. The rural economy has achieved qualitative growth. As a result, the purchasing power of the people increased. All sections of Telangana society are becoming economically stronger. All this is possible through the development of Telangana. So, people are expecting more quality services from the government. It is the responsibility of the government officials to provide better quality services to them,” said CM.
The Chief Minister said that the demand for strengthening of civic amenities is increasing day by day and it is because of the increased trust of the people in the state government. CM told the employees that there is a need to maintain the trust of the people with continuous efforts.
“Government hospitals and other government systems that have not seen the public support in the past are receiving huge popularity today. Reverse migration is taking place in Telangana. Around 30 lakh people migrated to Telangana from neighboring states for work. Revenues increased and financial resources increased in the self ruling Telangana state. Administrative reforms are implemented and the governance reached at the doorstep of people. The government machinery should fine tune its duties and meet the aspirations of the people for increased development. The government machinery should work equal to the increased development, the CM made it clear.
In the past, the rainy season lasts for only two to three months. Today, the situation has changed. Due to constant rains, the length of construction work has also reduced. We have to complete the development works within six months durin non rainy season. The government administration should understand the situation and prepare plans accordingly.
Make Nizamabad town a wonderful: CM
The Chief Minister made it clear that development in Nizamabad city, which is on the path of progress, should be more vibrant. CM said that the works should be completed as planned in two and a half months and he will visit and inspect the works. The Chief Minister ordered the local MLA Ganesh Bigala to engage in the work to complete the development works of Nizamabad in coordination with all the departments of Panchayat Raj, Roads and Buildings, Municipal Department and others. The CM clarified that there is no shortage of funds for the development of Nizamabad. In addition to the already released funds, CM ordered the Finance Secretary to release more funds required for the development of the city of Nizamabad.
Khammam city, which was once neglected, has become a beautiful city with the efforts of the government. Make Nizamabad as beautiful as Khammam. All of should visit Khammam and study the development there, CM instructed Nizamabad officials and MLAs.
The Chief Minister said that gravel roads should be converted into BT roads in Nizamabad. CM instructed officials to estimate requirement of graveyards, burial grounds, integrated markets, community halls, Dump yards, veg and non-veg markets and complete the work quickly. In Nizamabad, modern Dobhi Ghats and modern saloons should also be constructed.
CM inquired about the condition of gardens in Nizamabad city. Public gardens should be improved immediately. The CM ordered the officials to beautify the Nizamabad railway station to prepare plans to use all the government lands in Nizamabad for public purposes. The Chief Minister asked the officials prepare plans to use the vacant lands .
CM explained to the officials the methods to be followed for the urban development of Nizamabad. The Chief Minister said he will visit Nizamabad in two months. “Consider the things you have done. Make Nizamabad beautiful,” said the CM.
State Municipal Administration minister Sri KT Rama Rao explained to CM the development works undertaken by the municipal department in the state. Minister KTR explained the efforts of the municipal department in making ideal cities in the country. On this occasion, state Roads and Buildings Minister Sri Vemula Prashanth Reddy explained the details regarding the construction of auditorium in Nizamabad city to CM.
MLC Smt Kavitha requested CM about the development works to be undertaken in Nizamabad city. MLC Kavitha explained to the CM regarding a spacious space for the construction of a bus stand in the city and the construction of a sports ground for children to play. MLC Kavitha requested CM to take up the construction of Haj Bhavan.
In this review meeting, Ministers Sri KTR, Vemula Prashant Reddy, MLCs Smt. Kavitha, Sri Venkataramireddy, Sri Kaushik Reddy, MLAs along with local MLA Sri Bigala Ganesh, Sri Jeevan Reddy, Sri Rohit Reddy, Municipal Department Special Chief Secretary Sri Arvind Kumar, Director Sri Satyanarayana, Nizamabad Collector Sri Narayana Reddy, Additional Collector Sri Chandrasekhar, Municipal Commissioner Ms. Chitra along with senior officers of Nizamabad District Panchayat Raj, Roads, Buildings, Irrigation, Revenue, Public Health and other departments participated.
