The first review meeting on Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Scheme is held at the newly constructed Dr. BR Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao here on Monday.
In the wake of the Supreme Court’s permission to continue the drinking water project works under Palamuru Rangareddy lift scheme, CM KCR discussed the progress in the works for the drinking water supply meant for old Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts in the review meeting today (Monday).
The CM issued orders to the officials to supply water to the Karivena reservoir by July and lift the water up to Uddandapur by August this year. The officials have been asked to complete the pending works at Narlapur, Edula, Vattem, Karivena and Uddandapur reservoirs. The CM also instructed the officials to complete the leftover works related to Pump Houses, Power Sub Stations and the ‘Conveyor System’ which is being used to shift water from one reservoir to another.
The Chief Minister also reviewed the progress in the works of Kalvakurti, Nettempadu, Bhima and Koil Sagar in the Palamuru district. The CM ordered the officials to complete the remaining works by June this year.
