Under the humane administration of Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao, Telangana State, which has become a role model for the rest of the country, has set the stage for another historical event. The Telangana Government has further increased the amount of financial assistance provided to the persons with disabilities (PwDs).
The Telangana Government on Saturday issued orders increasing the pension of disabled persons by ₹1,000. The PwDs who are hitherto getting ₹3,016 pension every month, are going to get ₹4,016 pension with the increase. CM Sri KCR, who announced the decision of increasing the pension to the PwDs at a public meeting in Mancherial, has kept the word by approving the relevant file.
The Telangana Government is working diligently for the welfare of persons with disabilities like no other state in the country and provides them the highest amount of pension.
