Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekkar Rao conducted an official visit to the Mancherial district on Friday. As part of decennial celebrations of the Telangana Formation Day, CM participated in the “Sankshema Samburala Dinotsavam” and launched new welfare schemes. The Chief Minister inaugurated Mancherial District integrated Collectorate complex. The CM laid foundation stones for various development programmes in the district.

CM inaugurated the new Collectorate Office Complex:

Vedic scholars welcomed the CM by chanting hymns. After unveiling the inauguration plaque of the new collectorate, CM cut the ribbon and entered the new collectorate office along with the CS, ministers, public representatives and officials. Later, the CM participated in special puja programs organized in the new collectorate. After that, CM made Manchiral District Collector Badawat Santosh sit on the chair and congratulated him by presenting a bouquet. On this occasion, the collector honored CM with a shawl and presented mementos. After interfaith prayers, CM honored the District Collector’s office officials with shawls.

CM addressed after the inauguration of the new Collectorate Office – Highlights:
The demand to make Mancherial district is long pending. During the NT Rama Rao’s regime in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh, people requested the CM to create a new district. It was very difficult for them to go to places like Chennuru and Pranahita border. That’s how the Siddipet area was also in the Medak district. I also gave representation to  NTR  to make Siddipet a district. But it could not happen in those days.

By the grace of God, the Telangana state was formed and today we fulfilled the demand for new districts. Administrative reforms mean not setting up ten offices and increasing the four officers. Reform is not a one-day process. Reform is a continuous process. To put it simply, before we were born there were no private schools, we studied in Sarkar school. There was no computer system then. A computer in America was as big as this hall. Now the computer has come and we have to change accordingly. That means that reform is a continuous process where we need to reform ourselves according to the scientific base in which context.

After the formation of our Telangana state, I contacted the first chief secretary of Chhattisgarh, who was also serving as an Advisor. He advised me to go ahead with the creation of more districts without thinking about the geographical conditions. Ministers and MLAs also requested the same. The Asifabad Collectorate is also ready. Perhaps the work has started in Adilabad too.

Along with this the Irrigation department and R and B wings reorganized. new Panchayats, mandals were also created. Even in the agricultural sector, it was once very difficult to grow paddy in Telangana. Today,  we are making great progress by making 2600 clusters in our state and placing an extension officer at each place as a bridge for the people and achieving good results.

Today Telangana is no.1 in many things including per capita income and per capita power utilization. We are number 1 in drinking water supply to every household. Nine years have passed and we are entering the tenth year and we are celebrating the decennial celebrations. Corona has affected the world a lot. Telangana struggled for one and a half years due to Corona and the demonetisation also crippled our progress. Six and a half years of tireless efforts made Telangana a fast-progressing state. I would like to thank all our Telangana officials, who coordinated and gave the results to the people. We are No. 1 in welfare, we have no caste, no religion, no race and we are taking care of everyone moving forward magnificently.

I would also like to thank all our government officials who are taking the government programs to the end and delivering them to the people.. BC Welfare Minister and Secretary are also here today. We are going to start the second phase of sheep distribution. Also, we have taken up a large-scale program for the most backward class of BC communities who do small businesses.  Rs one lakh will help to set up modern salons,  and modern ironing shops along with dobi ghats. Similarly, there are many artisans belonging to the Pusawarela community in the BC caste, and support them all.

After the formation of Telangana, when I was reviewing many departments, the animal husbandry people came, after talking to them, they said that we are importing about 16 thousand crores of sheep. The consumption is high in Hyderabad city, and our industrial clusters like Manchiryala, and Ramagundam Kothagudem also has a large population and consuming high meat. There are Yadavs per 30 lahks Yadav in Telangana.  Today,  Telangana stands as No. 1 in the country in sheep farming. We surpassed Rajasthan and became the No. 1 in sheep breeding.  About  3 lakh people will get a second installment of sheep under the second phase program. Saturate with it and then we will be top in that field.

Maternal mortality has decreased, infant mortality has decreased and we are going to the top. Kanti Velugu is doing wonders in India. It has also been very successful, people are so happy that they come and undergo eye tests.

Chief Ministers of Delhi and Punjab were inspired to start Kanti Velugu. It means that if you think well, seek the well-being of people and do good deeds, great results will come. After achieving such results, Telangana, like a child, will compete with many other states in the country. We have achieved many milestones in this way. We will do better in the future. In the coming days, ten or twenty food processing units will come up in every Taluk. Palm Oil plantations are getting excellent responses in this district. Even today, we are importing more than one lakh crores of palm oil. It should be reduced. The production of Palm Oil in Telangana will be increased. Nearly one lakh acres have been cultivated and we aim to cultivate 25 lakh acres of palm oil in the coming days.

All these have been put together with commitment and dedication.  In the past, IAS officers did not look toward Gram Panchayats and Municipalities. After the appointment of Additional Collectors for local bodies, they are bringing excellent results. Most of the awards are won by Telangana. This is not an ordinary thing, we are doing great things, so we are achieving it. Palle Pragathi and Pattana Pragathi will be taken up in July. I conclude by congratulating you on the occasion of setting up a new Collectorate once again by saying that under the leadership of all of you, your work should continue like this, you should move forward in the same manner, achieve the desired goals and make Telangana the leader of India.

Foundations laid for development programmes:

New welfare schemes launched:
After that, CM formally launched the ‘Financial support for artisans and vocational communities for MBC communities, the second phase of the sheep distribution programme, the distribution of house land titles to poor beneficiaries who cannot afford a house, at the new collectorate.
