Providing financial assistance of One lakh rupees to the minorities.

As per the decision of Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao to provide financial assistance of one lakh rupees to the minorities with full subsidy on the same lines as provided to the BCs of the state, the Telangana Government has issued orders today. With this, the state government has enabled another historic milestone that serves as an example to the country towards economic self-reliance of the minorities.

Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble CM said that the state government is working towards eradicating poverty amongst all sections of the society regardless of caste and religion. As part of this, the government is already supporting all the sections. On the same lines, the CM reiterated, the state government is committed for the development and welfare of minorities.

CM Sri KCR said that efforts are being made to eliminate poverty and backwardness in minorities by implementing several schemes in various fields including education and employment. The CM said that the programmes undertaken by the state government in this direction are yielding results.

The CM made it clear that efforts to protect ‘Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb’ will continue in the state and the Telangana Government will support all the cultures, religions, customs and traditions.
