Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao has decided to utilise the services of Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs) based on their educational qualifications and skillset by deploying them in other departments including the Irrigation Dept.
Hon’ble CM has stated that the government will hold a meeting with the VRAs and seek their views to take further action. For this, the CM constituted Cabinet Sub-Committee headed by IT and Industries Minister Sri KT Rama Rao. Ministers Sri G Jagadish Reddy and Smt. Satyawati Rathod are the members of the Sub-Committee.
The Sub-Committee will begin discussions with VRAs from Wednesday. Hon’ble CM has directed the CS Smt. Santhi Kumari to take steps towards utilizing the services of VRAs as per the recommendations of the Sub-Committee. The Chief Minister said that a final decision will be taken after holding another meeting after Sub-Committee completes the exercise. The CM exhorted the Sub-Committee to complete the exercise within a week.
