Special Committee to address land related disputes: CM

Honourable Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy ordered the constitution of a Special Committee to prepare guidelines for permanent solution to the land related disputes in the Telangana State.

The Chief Minister held a review on the functioning of Dharani portal and land related issues at Dr. BR Ambedkar Secretariat today (Wednesday). Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Medical and Health minister Damodara Raja Narsimha, Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari, Special Chief Secretary to Revenue Department Naveen Mittal and other higher officials and public representatives participated.

CM Revanth Reddy suggested that the new Committee should be constituted on the lines of Koneru Ranga Rao committee. The Committee should make recommendations to find a permanent solution to the land related disputes. The Special Committee will be comprising of ministers, senior officials of the Revenue department, farmers’ representatives and experts in land related acts.

The Chief Minister directed the Chief Secretary to submit a comprehensive report on the decisions taken from the launch of Dharani portal to till the date. CMO officers Shivdhar Reddy, Seshadri and Shah-Nawaz Qasim are also present in the meeting, Mahabubnagar MLA Srinivas Reddy, farmers’ representatives Kodanda Reddy, V Narender Reddy, Sampath Kumar and the representatives of Revenue Association participated in the expressed their views in the meeting.
