Six new ministers were inducted into the state cabinet. Hon’ble Governor Sri ESL Narasimhan administered the oath for these new ministers at a special program organized at Raj Bhavan.
Allocation of Portfolios to New Ministers
1. Sri C. Laxma Reddy – Energy
2. Sri Azmeera Chandulal – ST Development, Tourism & Culture
3. Sri Jupally Krishna Rao – Industries, Handlooms & Textiles, Sugar
4. Sri Tummala Nageshwar Rao – Roads & Buildings, Women & Child Development
5. Sri A. Indra Karan Reddy – Housing, Law and Endowments
6. Sri Talasani Srinivas Yadav – Commercial Taxes, Cinematography
The following Ministers are allotted additional Portfolios in addition to their Existing work allocation.
1. Sri T. Padma Rao – Minister for Excise & Prohibition, Sports and Youth Services
2. Sri Jogu Ramanna – Minister for Forest & Environment, Backward Classes Welfare.
